How will travel be like in 2022?

Travellers never thought of coronavirus to exist in 2022 still, standing at March 2020 when the travel industry, rather every industry became silent. But here we are heading into ‘Year 3’ of global pandemic.

Some of us still have unused airline credits to use from cancelled trips and many are desperate to go somewhere. But others are still feeling panicky and can’t figure out how safe travel is these days.

The world once again rolls on an immense surge in COVID-19 cases driven by the omicron variant, travel plans may feel even more unreliable.

Accordingly, domestic travel being popular for the third year in a row. National parks and other outdoor-centric destinations will still be very popular in 2022, that too for good motive. Many people live within driving distance of beautiful state parks or national parks, making them easier to access.

However, international travel is still possible if updated safety recommendations by local health authority’s website are taken care of. We all need to check local and federal health authorities’ websites for COVID-19 requirements and the latest information at both your departure and arrival destinations.

Based on few up-to-the-minute prediction by the local authorities the pandemic is to go high up in last weeks of January and hopefully will lose its strength by end of the month. Can we feel little worry-free and relaxed in February 2022? OR realise pandemic protocols will potentially be with us for the approaching years!

Happy reading till we meet next month!
