29th Edition of SATTE 2022, underway

SATTE (South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange) is a comprehensive platform for domestic and international professionals from the travel, tourism and hospitality verticals along with National and State Tourism Boards (NTOs and STOs). SATTE is recognized as Asia’s Leading travel and tourism exhibition to conduct business, share knowledge, exchange ideas in order to arrive at solution-driven innovations to accelerate the pace of the growth of the industry.

As per source, the 29th edition of SATTE will occur at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR from 18-20 May 2022.

Last edition of SATTE 2021 was organized at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh with a motive to bring revival in Tourism Industry and sustainable growth.

SATTE 2021 has one-of-a-kind features such as SATTE Virtual Zone, and the T3 Studio that is enabling exhibitors to communicate their services effectively to the buyers. It witnessed participation from cross-sections of the industry and various State Tourism boards.

Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India (organizers of SATTE), said, “Exhibitions like SATTE will surely drive a positive tone among the associated stakeholders and industry players, while strategically strengthening ‘Atmanirbharta’ as envisaged by the Government. With the current international air travel restrictions, SATTE reoriented its strategy & keep focus on the domestic market along with select international destinations that have opened doors for tourists post the lockdown lift. India has also executed Travel Bubble arrangement with few countries to support travel across the international borders.” 

Arabian Travel Market 2022 going back to the future

RX Global, organiser of Arabian Travel Market (ATM), has announced that the 2022 edition of its annual showcase, will focus on the future of international travel and tourism and the likely challenges and the benefits, for a resilient industry that is still coming to terms with the new normal.

“COVID-19 has dominated our lives since March 2020 and continues to do so in many parts of the world. However, although international travel & tourism has learnt from past experiences and adapted in some cases almost seamlessly, we now have an ideal opportunity to look ahead to the future of our industry, said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market.

Now in its 29th year and working in collaboration with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the event, will take place live and in-person at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 8 to 11, 2022.

In similar fashion to the 2021 format, a virtual edition will again take place the following week on May 17 and 18, 2022. Show highlights in 2022 will include, among others, destination summits focused on key source markets Saudi, Russia, China and India, Travel Forward, the leading global event for travel technology which puts a spotlight on the latest, next generation technology for travel and hospitality, ATM buyer forums and speed networking events, as well as Arrival Dubai @ ATM – a dedicated in-destination forum.
