MAXX by Steigenberger Bad Honnef

Martin Brehm has been appointed as General Manager of the MAXX by Steigenberger Bad Honnef with immediate effect.  Acting both as central point of contact and General Manager, Brehm will be responsible for all of the business areas at the hotel while also supporting Deutsche Hospitality within the scope of the group’s growth strategy for the young MAXX by Steigenberger brand. Martin Brehm originally trained as a restaurant and hotel specialist and has held various positions in the fields of human resources management and payroll accounting over the past few years.

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Simon Barnett has been appointed Hotel Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Bringing with him more than 25 years’ varied experience, hospitality expertise and passion to the role, he was most recently Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. He worked for international hospitality groups across the globe including five years as director of sales and marketing at Jumeriah Hotels & Resorts in London and New York and tenures at Hilton Hotels in United Kingdom. After moving back home to Australia in 2011, Simon began his career with Four Seasons as Director of Catering and Conferences Services in Sydney.

Flight Centre Travel Group

Claire Harrington has been appointed by Flight Centre Travel Group as Head of Corporate Marketing Europe. She will be responsible for overseeing marketing strategy for Flight Centre’s corporate brands including global travel management division FCM Travel Solutions in EMEA, plus specialist SME-spend divisions Corporate Traveller and Flight Centre Business Travel in Europe and MICE division cievents in the UK.

 

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV)

Cruise & Maritime Voyages has appointed sales specialist Roz Young as business development manager for Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. Young has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development roles for companies including Norwegian Cruise Line, Booking.com and Enterprise Car Rental. She has developed a loyal following of travel advisors and outshined at building connections with suppliers, organizing and participating in trade shows and creating training and webinars to drive brand awareness and sales.

Choice Hotels International

Choice Hotels International Inc. has promoted Sarah Searls to the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer. In her expanded role, she will lead the company’s marketing & customer acquisition, digital experiences, loyalty, and customer care functions. Searls joined Choice in 2009 as the first member of its enterprise-wide analytics function, leading the design of the analytical solutions and tools that still drive Choice’s strategic business decisions today. Prior to Choice, Searls spent 10 years with America Online and Time Warner, where she led various analytical functions and areas within corporate development and business affairs.
