Snacks and travel can actually go hand in hand, as one can complement each other. Based on the connection, the famous Indian food chain and Snacks Company, Haldirams has launched a travel company, Travhos Experience, to take a piece of the pie in the booming travel sector in India.
Travhos offers everything from package tours to treks. They range their services in heritage and spiritual sector, in business and other packages for India and abroad. The company started its journey in May 2018 in Delhi and went on for gradual expansion.
While conversing with Siddharth Sharma, General Manager, Travhos Experiences, regarding its uniqueness, he explained its specialization on curating bespoke experiences, tailor-made holidays as well. ‘We are not just a travel house, but also a concierge company, going all out to meet the expectations of our demanding customers. By default, we offer a direct single point of contact and availability over text and chats, making the communication personalized, discreet and effective,’ he mentioned.
Besides, Travhos has travel themes like nirvana, adventure, heritage, business, spirituality, discovery, adventure, nightlife, romance and so on. The organisation relates their themes in almost all their designer packages and caters to all segments like groups, MICE, FIT, luxury, conferences and weddings.
The transitional journey of the parent group, Haldirams to the travel industry, is a very unique experience for Travhos. Their primary goal is to provide bespoke travel and concierge experiences in all domestic, outbound and inbound tours for groups of all sizes, while maintaining the decades of quality customer services. The targeted customer base includes all – whether budget or high end, by keeping the quality as the foremost parameter.
Discussing on the marketing strategies and policies lined up to promote the brand, Siddharth Sharma informed that it’s done by attending and branding at different fests, displays at their retail food outlets and social and digital handles as well.
According to Sharma, the brand is not restricted in any specific geographic location. For summer, Travhos is launching ready to go experiences. ‘Affordable Luxury Cruises under Discovery by Travhos is one of our first unique upcoming experiences,’ he mentioned.
Even after being a famous brand’s travel wing, Travhos has faced several challenges like in various processes, logistics, operations, finances and more like most start-ups. However, with their unique plans, they have been able to overcome those odds, focusing presently on their expansion plans. .
According to the General Manager, ‘The idea is to be unique, yet approachable and connecting like our parent organization Haldirams. We plan to set new standards in all the verticals whether group travel, corporate, MICE or events. In due course, we have plans to expand nationally and internationally.’
The core team of Travhos has travelled extensively to enrich their knowledge and gathered updated information about the premium luxury locations at various destinations. To spread the words and communicating with the travel business world, Travhos has planned to attend ILTM, PURE, WTM, ITB, ITM and so on.
